Flatio - Monthly rentals with a human touch

A bit expensive. You have no idea how much money you will actually get. The times of payouts are very weird. Don't fit at all with any expenses times you have as a landlord (utilities, taxes, other leases if you have) and the worst - you can not take a deposit. And the acta or smth insurance policy does not really fully protect you from things deppsit would. And the person who pays the deposit in cash, has a sense of "I need to take care good care of this place to get my deposit back" which is a strong physiological element. Also if one could pay a small fee of being published higher in the apartments list - that could be a good idea.

There are many good resultants in the area and good transportation options but I prefer to walk whenever possible for health reasons. Nothing for improvement

The service was very good and immediately responsive when I had an issue. I was able to reach them on the phone without long wait and exchange emails afterwards with the person (not AI). Only the Flatio fee could be lower for long-stays in expensive global cities.

I had a very nice journey in the flat, the owner is very kind and always careful when I need it. One negative point of the hosting is the noise when it comes to weekend and short-Time journey. Overall I recomend this rented appartment !

I have used Flatio quite a few times, no issues with the rented apartments thus far. One thing to note, I find the fees based on length of rent can accumulate quite high. A flat fee based would be better.

I would rate Flatio’s service 5 out of 5. The platform made it straightforward to find and secure accommodation for an extended stay, and the booking, payment, and rental-document process was clear and well organized. What pleased me most was the convenience of managing everything through one platform, particularly as someone arranging accommodation while traveling internationally. Communication was easy to follow, important information was accessible, and the overall process felt reliable from booking through the end of the stay. I did not experience any significant problems that would affect my rating. Some parts of the platform and its notifications could perhaps be simplified, but overall, the service worked very well and I would confidently use Flatio again for a future medium- or long-term stay.

Love this platform, love having a legit lease. Anytime I needed something regarding my lease or questions about my rental. The hosts or flatio associates always were there to assist me. I wish I would have found this platform a long time ago. It's my favorite for finding long term rentals.

When we were trying to book accommodation in Berlin we applied for 3 other places that appeared to have availability only to have the owner respond that their apartment wasn't actually going to be available. This also started to occur for Lisbon so we used a different platform as we didn't have time to waste for repeated Flatio applications. Otherwise this platform was good.

I don't like that we have to have a written rental agreement signed with the host in person. This should be an online thing we complete with booking or is a part of the terms

I like that a formal lease contract is provided and that long-term stays even up to a year or more are an option. The refund process is not good, it requires the guest to be refunded from the host, not Flatio. Additionally the Flatio fees are not presented in a transparent way. I wish there were more reviews for hosts, perhaps an incentive can be offered to guests to provide these
