StayProtection vs. Stay Benefits
StayProtection
StayProtection for Guests is a Flatio coverage that applies to you at all times. It was designed to protect you, your money, and your peace of mind. StayProtection also includes an exclusive Move-in Guarantee, ensuring you'll have a place to stay even if things don't go as planned.
+ Stay BenefitsStayProtection+ Stay Benefits
Stay Benefits is a special part of the StayProtection coverage which doesn't come with all Flatio living spaces. They include liability insurance, assistant services, and 24/7 online support for all situations covered by this package.
You can read more about the StayProtection and Stay Benefits packages and when they are applicable on this page.
Verified by Nomad Inspector
This badge is awarded to living spaces that have been inspected by a Nomad Inspector and verified as suitable for remote work in terms of Wi-Fi speed, workspace, location, etc. A Nomad Inspector is a digital nomad influencer who is a member of Flatio's Nomad Inspectors Club.
Perfect for professionals
A personally selected flat that meets the requirements of business clients
Leading competitor platforms
In our comparison, we mainly considered platforms that have a similar focus as Flatio and are also suitable for medium- or long-term stays. In particular, we analyzed data from Booking.com, Spotahome, Homelike and Uniplaces.
Flatio should not communicate sensitive information such as the address via text messages. I wrote about this issue to the customer service, but the response was "it's not possible to not send a text message." Choosing a communication method should always be possible for customers of a service.

I'm not unsatisfied. I just haven't completed the process yet, so it's premature for me to comment.

The website is easy to use, with some good options, with decent prices and Flatio is very helpful in their communication.
However, I booked in July, which has 31 days, but the invoice was only for 30 days, and so I got an invoice for the last day halfway through the month. While, the contract made it clear that I was only being invoiced for 30 days at no point did I see a price for 31 days.
So when I was pressured by Flatio to sign the contract and pay the invoice, or they would have to cancel the booking. I didn't expect any changes in the price of the booking since it remained consistent from my first visit to the website. I skimmed the contract but didn't see the additional days rent.
I'm struggling to articulate the weirdness, but it's like I went to the shop, bought my groceries, and I was stopped at the door and told if I want to take the groceries out of the store I'd have to pay an extra €2, it feels dishonest. Surely the shelf price should be inclusive.
Flatio said that if I wanted to cancel, we could do so with the owner's agreement. However, we agreed and apparently Flatio told the owner we couldn't cancel, so there was conflicting information.
Overall we had a great time and decided to stay for the last day, but the experience left a bitter taste.

lots of owners for one reason or another dont accept you, also some owners clearly want to deal outside of flatio and that opens up for other issues, comparing with something like airbnb, that rarely happens or the "owners restrictions" like only accepting females are clearly shown (even though its a bit discriminating), lets see if this one comes through...

The housing recommendations on the left side of the screen made the map small on the other side and difficult to navigate around. Also, some other sites integrate with Google Maps to estimate transit and walking commute times, which is an excellent feature.

There is very unreliable stream of tenants. People reserve time and don't pay leaving my property off the market for a long time, losing me money. I'm already considering pulling my properties from the platform since there is not a good stream of customers, and the experience as a property owner is quite bad (punishment if reject a reservation, no clarity if the people will actually pay money on time or show up or even answer emails). Make it more like AirBnB. If I go there to make a reservation - my money is collected right then, landlords can rely on the bookings that are made. The way this works is not good.

The first payment was very problematic, becouse of a account documentation matter of flatio the payment got delayed for around 3 weeks, and even more frustrating was that it was not able to communicate with the support, nor they didnt respond me or gave me a feedback about the solution. finally everything was solved. i think communcation could be developed. also no possibilities to collect security deposit only after 6 month of stay which is a complete non sense! Flatio has a very high commission on host and guest side and for that service should be better

I had a great experience with flatio 4 years ago in Brno, CZ Republic.
However this experience in Prague and this particular rental location I am not happy with flatio for doing more to support me despite numerous emails/texts complaining of the lack of furnishings
