The location is fantastic, the ocean is very close but the apartment did not look ready for receiving guests. And unfortunately, the apartment looked different from the pictures from when we booked, actually, it was a ground-floor apartment. However, the owner tried to fix everything she could as soon as possible which I appreciate. Overall, the location was just great.

It is a quiet place to stay this guest house depends on your vacation purpose. As for me, after long beach surfing life, I took a full rest here.
I just wanna address some of the points, it is nearby the train station, however, the train is coming every 20min, so you have to calculate the commute time. You have the right to request laundry service based on their house rule, however, I found the host adds an additional excuse to do this. Thus, I recommend and make sure to communicate with her clearly. (ask for coins, and go to the laundry store by yourself or request them to do it in advance). I barely see the host or cleaner while staying here, they provide good cleaning service. Luckily I have no other guests while staying on my 3rd floor. Other than that, you can feel free to stay.

The LovelyStays Team was really nice and helpful, even though we had some problems with the apartment. They were always responsive and solved issues as soon as possible, so we are happy :-) thank you!

This is a great shared flat for those needing a private bed and bath without needing private common areas. Located on a busy street in Alameda near the park. This makes it hard to keep the windows open at night if you’re a light sleeper but each room has AC if you need it. The elevator is quite old so I only used it when I checked in and out with my luggage. Stairs have motion activated lights that don’t always detect motion so have your flashlight ready at night. I was room 3 and the bed was a single very firm mattress with a firm pillow. Not my style but might be yours. Very large room with a desk and space to unpack. I recommend double checking with the landlord which shower room is yours if in room 2 or 3 as they are not marked and this caused some confusion while I was there. The landlord was one of the best I’ve encountered in my travels. She was so helpful and accommodating. Very responsive and troubleshooting any questions I had about the flat or the area. She and her husband were on-site one day I was there which was really great. I didn’t stay as long as I’d have hoped due to an uncontrollable AC outage during a heat wave and vacation month (Aug) so it was going to take some time for it to be fixed properly. The landlord was so accommodating to my need to leave for AC and was already working on repairs for next tenant. If I were in need of this type of lodging in the future I’d happily rent. Note: this is not a hotel or private flat. Please remember that as you will hear noise from fellow tenants. Bring earplugs if you need. I also suggest flip flops or similar for walking around the flat and bathrooms. Very clean space but it is public outside your room. This space provides you the basics and If that is all you need then you’ll be happy!

We stayed 3 months at Lisbon Oasis, beginning of 2022. The apartment is well located and nicely furnished.

We however had issues due to the Internet connection that has been really poor during half of our stay (6 weeks with less than 10kgb speed). We had to follow up several times with the owner asking for support and resolution and even had to escalate with Flatio Customer Service team to get follow up and answers. After weeks of back and forth, the owner finally took the step to install a high speed internet with a better router. This all situation generated high frustration from our side as we didn't felt much willingness from the owner to support + this generated extra costs to pay for a co-working space with a stable internet connection.

So we would not recommend to book in case you wish to stay there on mid-term renting.

This apartment is in such an excellent location, it's really a shame the landlords do not act ethically and also a shame they don't do some very simple things to make the apartment more livable.
Very shortly after signing the contract with Flatio the landlords contacted me and asked for a deposit and cleaning fees, both of which were specifically not included in the contract. They pushed, but finally backed down after Flatio talked to them.
When the day of departure approached, they asked me what time I was leaving, and when I said around 16:00 (contract states you have the apartment until 17:00), they claimed check out was 11:00, and they had someone else moving in at 16:00. Completely irresponsible and unethical to promise someone a checkin before the previous tenant's contract has expired. They once again backed down when I pointed this out.
If you still want to stay here, note there is absolutely no closet space, no wardrobes and no chest of drawers. Apparently they expect people to live out of their suitcases. The apartment is spacious, and each bedroom could have either a wardrobe or chest of drawers if they would just spend a few euros.
Also note the shower does not work the way it should, and they were informed of this by a maintenance person three weeks ago and as of the time of my leaving had not done anything about it.
Despite the excellent location I would not deal with these people again.

Although the landlords do their best to manage the property from the Netherlands, this doesn’t work well and they should hire someone local to manage the property. There are three other short-term rentals in the building, which means noise from people who come to Lisbon to party. Most of the other units are unoccupied. One apartment next to us was under renovation from time to time resulting in noise, dust and at times strong odors. Renovations began in the apartment below in December 2021 and typically take a year and a half or more due to labor shortages. Beware. The apartment is in an old building and tends to be cold especially in the living room where there is a severe draft. There is no elevator and the stairs up are the equivalent of about seven typical floors. The place was not nearly as nice as the photos but the landlords are planning to renovate the kitchen and bathroom. The second bedroom is only appropriate to sleep due to the pitch of the ceiling. The location is great for taking a ferry, train, metro or tram for day trips to many wonderful places.

The location is great, but the bed needs a new mattress, the shower needs a new shower head (although the amount of water coming out of it is not much anyway), the kitchen is alright but small.
There is a strange issue that when you use the hot water some of the hot air+vapor from the water heater comes back into the kitchen through the stove air exhaust, it would seem that both exhaust pipes are connected.
In summary, the location is great, and with a few small repairs/upgrades the flat would be a good place to come back and recover for the next day.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! The flat was filled with mould and damp and the landlord only offered a clean of the flat with no partial or full refund offered. The landlord offered for us to leave the apartment, but we explained this wouldn't be possible due to our busy schedule and the fact we couldn't take time off work to move (we had over 30 boxes with us we would need to move, if we decided to leave early).

Many of our important belongings were destroyed by the mould including expensive artwork and clothes. The landlord did not offer to pay for any of the damage, even when we asked for it.

Further, there was a huge hole in the wall and other major issues with the apartment that were only visible after we checked in. They did not communicate these issues before.

Money grabbers. Please avoid AT ALL COSTS.

The apartment is a good size for one person and has a BEAUTIFUL view overlooking a garden with orange trees and the Tagus River in the distance. The apartment is on the ground floor in a historical building, so there was a good amount of noise coming from the street. The internet was stable enough for me to work remotely. There's no central AC or heating, but there are fans and radiators provided. There are two grocery stores, pharmacies, and some cafes and bakeries nearby.

However, I did not have a good experience staying here. The apartment furnishings are not well maintained. When I arrived, the pillows, duvet, and mattress protector were YELLOW, as if they've never been cleaned or replaced. The sofa and arm chair have a musty smell from not being cleaned. The trash can, freezer door, toilet seat, and towel rack were broken when I arrived. The Feeling Inn team was responsive and replaced fixed/replaced most of these things. In the end, I felt like I was complaining too much, even though it was all valid.

However, that wasn't the end of the issues. This apartment is on the ground floor opening up to the street. A man had a key to the apartment and tried to enter at 10 p.m. on a rainy Saturday night. I told Feeling Inn about this and they said it wasn't anyone from their team. They had no idea who this could've been. As a woman traveling by herself, this was very unsettling. I wanted to cancel my lease early, but it was difficult to find other accommodation on short notice. So I requested that they change the lock and they did so without hesitation.

Overall, the Feeling Inn team are nice people, but I can't recommend staying at this apartment.

Our experience at this place wasn't the best. The apartment itself is great, and it's very well located to move around the center of Lisbon — but I think it's poorly managed.

We had several problems during a short 3-week stay:

- The apartment was not clean when we checked in. The carpet that covers the living room had a lot of dirt in it, to the point we just preferred putting it aside. We could also see dirt in the corners of the apartment.

- The patio, which is supposed to be a major plus in this apartment was also noticeably dirty, with bird excrement stains on the floor, dirt around the corners, and cigarette buds in the planters.

- The washing machine was damaged before our arrival and we were not notified until the time of check-in (even though we had communicated with the landlord already). The landlord promised it would be replaced in a few days, but it took 2 weeks for it to be done (out of a 3-week stay) — the landlord just ignored our messages asking for updates in the meantime.

- When they installed a new washing machine, they didn't take away the old one, but rather just left it in front of the apartment door — so we had to literally tiptoe our way around it when going in and out of the apartment. Again, our complaints to the landlord about this issue went unanswered.

- The bathroom has absolutely no ventilation, as the bathroom extractor fan doesn't work.

Decent apartment with a few quirks. Location is great, quiet and central. Few issues about the apartment include a bedroom door that does not close properly, electrical issues where the power goes out if too many appliances in use. Cooking is challenging as you cannot use the oven and stovetop at the same time much less anything else like the tea kettle or toaster. Kitchen was also lacking basic knives.

Overall a decent apartment in Lisbon with a few issues. Bedroom door and electrical issues need to be fixed or at least be known to the renter.
