Even though these situations are extremely rare, here you can learn what should be done if a tenant doesn't show up to take over the property.

We recommend you confirm the handover time, place, and date with the tenant the day before you are scheduled to meet. If they do not answer you, try again, as many times as possible, on the day of the handover and the next day. If you still cannot reach the tenant, contact Flatio support at [email protected] and we will also try to contact the tenant.
How we resolve the situation with a no-show tenant will need to be addressed on a case-by-case basis. However, please note that a lack of communication like this is extremely rare and unlikely to occur once you and the tenant have completed the contractual process (which includes the tenant paying the first month’s rent).
