The apartment is very cosy and well-equipped, it is perfect for one person, but can also cater two persons for some time (double bed and large closet). It is located in the attic (4th floor) of a nice 19th century house, which grants you some free-of-charge work out ;-). Cooperation with the landlord Martin was uncomplicated, he reacted very fast and helpful to my messages.
Neighborhood
The apartment is located close to the city centre, one can walk to Freedom Square in 6-7 minutes, which is very comfortable, also in terms of having all needed shops close by. There are two small supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance, as is the next tramway stop. I found the whole Zábrdovice district an interesting place, being a former industrial zone with some remaining 19th century factory buildings as well as apartment houses of the same period ("Gründerzeit"). It is currently in the process of modification and gentrification, with e.g. the houses in Vlhka street being in different stages of renovation and reconstruction. I found the still "mixed" character of the district quite interesting.

There would be many restaurants, cafes etc. to recommend in the city centre, yet I would like to point out to the Vietnamese restaurant "Little Saigon" (https://www.facebook.com/littlesaigonbrno/) in Spitalka in the Zábrdovice district.

Martin has been a very good host. Twice we reached him for some housekeeping and he made sure to address those in quickest time. The property is well furnished, well decked up with essentials all present in the house from utensils to white goods all in working condition.

The apartment was nice, clean, comfortable and provided with everything you could need.
The owner was very friendly and helpful for any occasion.
I would recommend to anyone who wants to spend a short time in Brno and have everything you need as in a hotel.
