Flat for rent - Prague 2 - Vinohrady

This beautiful one-bedroom apartment is located in the popular Prague district od Vinohrady. Around the corner stands the National Museum and the State Opera, Wenceslas Square can be reached in 10 minutes. Even faster you get to Náměstí Míru with the neo-Gothic Church of St. Ludmila. From the bustle of the city you can relax in the park Riegerovy sady, which also features a sports stadium TJ Bohemians. In the neighborhood there is a large ammount of theaters and music clubs, where you can enjoy the evening.
The location is easily accessible by public transport. Metro line A and C is a 7-minute walk away, in three minutes you also get to the trams 1, 11, 13, 14 and 15. Nearby is Central station which can be reached in 10 minutes.
In vicinity you will discover everything you need - restaurants, cafes, bars and bistros, as well as supermarkets, a post office and ATMs.

Beautiful apartment of 63 square meters is located in the basement of beautiful historical building. The apartment is very spacious, it consists of one large room that is optically divided by smaller room with storage space. Once you enter the front door to the apartment, on your right you will discover a bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Windows illuminate a small table with chairs where you can lie back in the evening and watch your favorite show on television.
The bright kitchen is well equipped for daily use. In addition to electric stove you will also find an oven, microwave and fridge freezer. You can enjoy the wonderful meal at the dinning table. Bathroom designed in warm colors offers a spacious bath, toilet and a washing machine. The owner equipped the bathroom with a washing machine after photographing of the apartment, so it is not on the photos. But don´t worry, it is really there :)

This is a very large, clean, basement-level flat, with all the basics needed for a pleasant stay in Prague. The building is very nice and quiet in a nice residential area of Vinohrady / Prague 2. Petr was very friendly, easy to communicate with, and helpful during my visit. Check-in and check-out were both very smooth.

Many good cafes, pubs, restaurants, markets, and shops are within short walking distance. It is also less than 5-10 minutes walk to trams/buses/metro, many nice parks, and not far from Peace Square and Wenceslas Square.

My visit was during the transition from autumn to winter. There was not much sunlight, but there is good air circulation from the ceiling level windows, and also great amount of heat from the well-spaced adjustable thermal units around the flat.

Overall, this was a good experience in nice space in a great part of the city.

Stayed here for two months - Aug and Sept 2018. August was extremely hot in Prague and this place was in the basement so it was VERY nice and cool every day. The location of the flat was well situated to the center of town (right above Wenceslas Square/National Museum) and getting around on the Metro and streetcar was with excellent connections. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. In the flat itself the kitchen area is quite nice (loved the large fridge/freezer) and the bed is comfortable - but this is a studio apartment (no separate bedroom) so not much privacy and it is very sparsely furnished - it would have been nice to have place to put clothing away. Internet worked really well here.

Such a perfect apartment! The location is amazing; Vinohrady to the right and Prague 1 to the left! So easy to get all over the city from there too. The flat is huge and really quiet which was very important to me. I’d 100% recommend!

Jmenuji se Jan Benda, miluji Prahu a vždy jsem si přál být součástí toho živého organismu. Pro mne je procházka Prahou balsám na duši, a nezáleží, jestli je poledne, nebo půlnoc. Pracuji však mimo Prahu, kde mám hotel a ztrácím většinu času tam. Je to Jeseníkách uprostřed krásné přírody na hranici národního parku Jeseníky. Takže protiváha rušné Prahy. Byt je v renesančním domě, kde na Vás hned za dveřmi dýchne duch konce předminulého století a podmaní si vás jako mne.
